Submitting Sitemap to Google

Now we will submit a blogger sitemap to google.

This is step by step how will i add a sitemap to google:

1. 1st I'lll go to http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools

2. I will add the site on the top corner of the page. Click "Add Site".

3. I will verify that I'am the owner of the site. Click "Verify your site".

4. You will see a Combo box that say's "Choose Verification Method.." Click it and choose "Add A meta tag"

5. Copy the meta tag and go to your sitess Layout>Edit HTML and paste it insite your "head tag". Then Save your template.

6. After that go back to google webmaster tool and click "Verify"


7. Now on the left side of the webmaster tool pageand click "SITEMAP".

8. You will see your sitemap is 0 because we didn't add a sitemap yet. In adding a site map you need to copy this code: atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=9000

after copying that sitemap code. Paste it on the text box (right side of the page) then Click "Add Sitemap".

9. Sitemap is now added to google.
